In April 2023, Sysco unveiled a first-of-its-kind Electric Vehicle Hub and deployed 16 eCascadia tractors along with 5 electric refrigerated trailers in Riverside, California. In addition, our site in Fremont, CA also added 5 EV’s to their fleet.
Customers of Sysco’s businesses in Great Britain, Brakes and Sysco Speciality Group, started to receive deliveries from zero-emissions vehicles in August 2022. The pilot includes a range of temperature-controlled electric vehicles, including two 19-tonne Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) and two electric vans. The new vehicles support Sysco’s climate goal.
