Our passion for food and supporting the restaurant community in the Inland Northwest is what drives us. We understand that real human connections take place around the dinner table and we are tremendously thankful for the gift that our restaurant partners provide in sharing their art with the communities we serve.
In the Community
Sysco Spokane volunteers donated their time and smiles at a joint venture between Second Harvest and the Post Falls Food Bank helping the community by handing out boxes of food to nearly 160 families!
Union Gospel Mission Inland Northwest let us join their team for the afternoon to help serve lunch to those in need. The impact this program makes to lives in our community was something our volunteers will never forget.
Sysco Spokane joined forces with the Dairy Farmers of Washington, as well as restaurants and diners, to donate 54,359 meals to Second Harvest during Inlander Restaurant Week. With one-in-eight people in the Inland Northwest area not knowing where their next meal is coming from, a goal of Inlander Restaurant Week is to raise awareness about food insecurity in the region.
