Starting in 1925, Tom and Panos Lampros became partners in Portland Supply Company and began distributing Greek food products. After a generation and a half of dedication, hard work, growth, and acquisitions, the family business merged with CFS Continental. Then in 1988, the Continental group of companies was acquired by Sysco.

Today, Sysco Portland delivers the safest, highest quality foodservice products, along with industry leading customer support and ecommerce tools. Our associates continually work with local suppliers and regional producers to shape the future of foodservice in the Northwest. Yamhill Mushrooms

Yamhill County Mushrooms is a great local partner, founded by Bob Darm in 1985; the farm is located on 160 beautifully wooded acres in the Willamette Valley.  With help of grower Leo Pérez, the farm now produces over 5 million pounds of Agaricus bisporus annually.  The mushrooms thrive at Yamhill through a complex system of composting and computer tracking to maintain near perfect growing conditions.

Searching for the best way to produce naturally raised, environmentally sustainable beef, a group of 14 ranching families and neighbors formed a consumer driven beef marketing cooperative — Country Natural Beef.  The Oregon-based company has grown to nearly 100 family ranches across the west and is one of the nation’s leaders in natural beef production. They have established beneficial programs to fulfill Country Natural Beef’s high standards of sustainability and environmental stewardship by practicing “RaiseWell” principles with their cattle to consistently provide superior tasting product.

Their 40-acre farm grows well over a hundred different varieties of organic fruits and vegetables and is located just north of Corvallis, overlooking the Jackson- Frazier Wetland.
